Bad Day
Sharafin Gallery
Somebody had the nerve to ask me if I know Bob Badman. What does that matter? They also asked me if it was true that I am a frustrated painter. I do have a studio but never manage to get in there because writing this piece takes me all week and to do it right I have to go back numerous times. This of course means I go to fewer spaces but I concentrate on the same 8 spots so it isn't that bad.
Speaking of bad, Bob Badman is one of the baddest artists I know. Did I say know? He is one of a thousand ABEX painters that push the paint around until it looks good to him and he uses all the colors he can because that is what bad collectors like most. Who cares if there is no clarity in what he does and that he doesn't do anything unique. And his prices are really low. I mean if you want to get a really big piece for over your sofa and don't want to pay what other artists charge this is the guy for you. Thank you Badman for being so generous to collectors and for screwing your fellow artists. We also have to give some credit to your gallery for that.
We will be following you, after all you did go to the right school and have the right frenz!!!
I will be at the Harry Pecker Gallery next week and then Space 10-666, Loxx, Cox and all the same places my frenz write about too.

Oh come on I like Rob's ambitious painting that was down at the Urban Outfitters headquarters.
